In 2018, Dani earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa where she was born and raised. Before pursuing this lifelong passion, she received her bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from Iowa State University where she also competed as a Division I springboard and platform diver.
Dani is a three time CrossFit Regionals athlete and has coached for many years as an L1 certified CrossFit coach. Moving to Oregon in 2018, Dani got involved in hiking, trail running, and cycling. She is a certified professional bike fitter and brings a new perspective to helping prevent or mitigate cycling pain and rehabilitating cycling related injuries. Dani has a strong passion for helping others in all realms of fitness and her background in athletics and coaching allows her to work with a wide variety of athletes of all skill levels.
Dani enjoys being a part of the Headquarters PT team because she is passionate about investing in the patient and their needs. She brings a unique blend of high level athletic experience, in-depth knowledge of patient care/rehabilitation, and a contagious passion for improvement. Evidence based care and cutting edge practice is what sets Dani apart as a thought leader in our field.

JACK ANDERSON - Doctor of Physical Therapy
PT, DPT
Jack received his Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Regis University in 2021. Before earning his Doctorate, he majored in Kinesiology at Oregon State University, where he also was a member of the National Championship baseball team in 2018 as a starting outfielder.
While at Oregon State, he was recognized for his accomplishments on and off the field, as he earned All-PAC-12 outfielder and the Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2018 for the entire conference. Before his time at Oregon State, he was a 3-sport athlete in football, baseball, and basketball at local Lake Oswego High school, earning All-State honors in football and baseball.
Jack believes effective physical therapy interventions start with a patient-centered environment where respect, trust, honesty, and effective communication are paramount to the healing process.
Jack’s practice as a physical therapist is developed from evidence-informed care, clinical expertise, and the values and circumstances of the patient sitting in front of him. He will use these three main pillars to create a customized plan of care based on the patients’ needs.
Jack believes in the ethos of Headquarters Physical Therapy. He doesn’t just want his patients to simply reach their goals, but he wants them to enjoy the company they keep on the journey forward. When Jack isn’t working at HQ, you will probably see him inside the baseball cages as a hitting instructor for The Yard.

JOHN LEIDHOLT - Doctor of Physical Therapy

John received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in 2018. Prior to earning his doctorate, John spent his freshman year at the University of Wyoming as part of the Cowboys football team, then transferred to the University of Northern Colorado, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology.
While at the University of Northern Colorado, John was a member of the Student Athlete Committee and also served as a part-time Community Outreach Manager, designing educational presentations for local high-school athletes that covered topics such as sports nutrition, supplementation, and recovery.
Prior to joining HQ, John’s physical therapy career began at Nike World Headquarters, where he was able to gain valuable exposure to a variety of clientele, ranging from professional athletes to weekend warriors. He currently leads the Nike Golf Performance Program and assists in designing content for on-campus fitness and sport specific training classes.
John enjoys treating a variety of patients with varying backgrounds and believes physical therapy should follow the narrative of resilience and empowerment that focuses on the entire individual, not just an injury or diagnosis. He utilizes a variety of evidence-based treatment approaches and truly believes a patient centered model that involves building a long-term relationship through open communication, respect, trust, and education.
Outside of the physical therapy clinic, you’ll find John at the local golf course, brewery, or mountain. Being from Colorado, he continues to relish the outdoors, whether it’s for a short hike, weekend camping trip, or day spent snowboarding.

ASHLEY KNECHT – Doctor of Physical Therapy

Ashley Knecht is an Oregon native who grew up in Ashland. She graduated from Portland State University in 2019 with a BS in Health Sciences. During her collegiate years, Ashley competed as a Division One tennis player, where she developed a profound passion for physical therapy, driven by her desire to assist athletes—from professionals to weekend warriors—in achieving optimal recovery and performance.
Ashley attended Regis University for Physical therapy school, graduating in 2022. Since graduating PT school Ashley has focused on enhancing her expertise in sports rehabilitation and injury prevention, incorporating strength and conditioning principles into her rehabilitation strategies. As a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), she is particularly adept at designing programs that enhance athletic performance and reduce injury risks.
Ashley tailors her approach to meet the unique needs of each patient, combining evidence-based practices with a personal understanding of athletic demands and recovery processes. Outside the clinic, Ashley enjoys running, playing tennis, and cooking. Her holistic approach to wellness and commitment to patient education ensures that every individual she works with is well-equipped to return to their passions stronger and more resilient than ever.
JONAH KOSKI – Clinic Manager, Bend

Jonah received his Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from George Fox University after receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science from Whitworth University. Jonah is a Bend native who graduated from Bend Senior High School where he played baseball and football. Jonah continued his athletic career playing quarterback at the University of St. Thomas before finishing his career at Whitworth University. Jonah continues his passion for football coaching middle and high school quarterbacks with EForce in the offseason.
When Jonah isn’t working at HQ, you will most likely find him on the golf course. Jonah has a TPI certification where he will assess and identify physical restrictions that might be negatively impacting your performance and creating unnecessary discomfort. He is committed to helping you improve and play pain-free.
Jonah’s passion is empowering the inner athlete in everyone, whether it is a professional or aspiring athlete or anyone, regardless of age or physical health, who simply wants to improve the quality of their lives through greater flexibility, strength, and agility. Jonah believes in a patient-centered approach to developing personalized programs utilizing a wide range of treatment approaches that fit the unique needs of the individual. He will give you his undivided attention listening, encouraging, and caring for you and your needs. Jonah believes effective patient adaptation and healing occur through movement, repetition, and careful attention to the overall quality of movement.

SARAH ANTHONY - Registered Dietitian
LD, CD, CNSC
Sarah is a Registered Dietitian who has always had a passion for helping others feel better about themselves. She decided early on that she wanted to dedicate her career to helping people improve their sense of self and wellbeing through nutrition. She graduated from Oregon State University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics, and went on to complete her Dietetic Internship at Oregon Health and Science University and became a Registered Dietitian in 2012.
Sarah has experience in group education as well as one-on-one coaching and counseling. She brings to the team over 10 years experience in medical nutrition therapy, helping people manage acute and chronic disease with dietary modifications. She also has experience working in women’s health, pediatrics, eating disorders and disordered eating behaviors. Her compassionate nature fuels her career in not only educating but also encouraging and supporting people throughout the process of diet and lifestyle change.
Sarah believes that confidence comes from within and strives to help others feel empowered in their ability to make change. She looks at the whole person and takes a non-diet approach, working closely with people to help them learn what kind of nourishment their bodies need to achieve their mental, emotional and physical goals while developing a lasting, healthy relationship with food. Sarah thinks that food should be seen both as something to be enjoyed as well as fuel for the body.
As an avid equestrian, Sarah understands how food affects mental and physical performance and works with equestrians and other athletes to enhance their performance outcomes.
Outside of work you can find this PNW native riding her horse, hiking, running, traveling and exploring new restaurants.

MEGHAN KARLSON - Sales Director
Meghan is an Oregon native, who attended Central Catholic High School and then received her degree in Public Relations and Communications from University of Oregon. She has worked in the corporate world for over 10 years including both agency and in-house. Meghan's most recent role was in hotel sales in downtown Portland, before coming to Headquarters Physical Therapy. She brings sales and marketing expertise along with strong client relations skills. Her decision to join HQ PT team comes from a passion to support the corporate world with wellness solutions to foster the best work environments, in turn creating positive change for employees at work but also in their personal lives.
Meghan enjoys all types of workouts and especially in group settings like BurnCycle or Bar Method. You can catch her running Hood To Coast most years literally running on no sleep, but her natural energy and adrenaline. Speaking of energy, she has two toddlers which keeps life in motion at all times. Meghan experienced her own PT treatment journey after having two babies and is a big advocate for taking the time and care needed to live pain free.

Ryan received his Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from George Fox University in 2015. Prior to becoming a Doctor of Physical Therapy Ryan received his bachelors degree in Athletic Training from Oregon State University. Ryan has a passion for promoting a narrative of resilience and empowerment, rather than a reliance on the traditional medical model. His purpose is to provide customized solutions to the needs of all individuals by creating a therapeutic alliance with each one.
Ryan utilizes a wide range of treatment approaches to promote positive adaptations that will improve an individuals ability to manage injury and the variability of sport/life. He is not a believer in magic hands and is very upfront with his patients about the limited role that the therapist’s hands play in their overall wellness. Ryan's patients hit the training floor early and often as he believes true motor learning occurs through the organic process of movement experience and error correction.
Ryan treats patients of all backgrounds but excels at working with field and court athletes of all levels and works as a private consultant for several NFL athletes.
Ryan believes that Headquarters Physical Therapy embodies the ideals of the healthcare industry - compassion, empathy, and science-based interventions. He believes that the Headquarters PT team is the best collection of physical therapists and nutritionists that Portland, Oregon can offer

JUDY LOFURNO - Business Director
Judy Lofurno joined the HQ PT team in 2020 and serves as the Business Director. In this role, Judy is responsible for patient management, HR, administration, and development of the physical therapy and wellness business. We rely on Judy to champion our culture and initiatives when working with patients and employers to ensure each of their team members have access to first rate resources.
After more than 30 years in Human Resource roles, Judy brings expertise in well being programs but also a background that lends itself to providing top notch service to our clients. Judy has worked in various HR roles throughout her career including working directly for one organization at a time and also consulting in various industries such as advertising, hospitality, manufacturing, financial services, healthcare, insurance and retail. She has worked with organizations of all sizes. Judy earned her BS in Human Resources at the University of Delaware, SHRM-SCP in 2017 and is a member of Society of Human Resource Management and the Portland Human Resource Management Association.
After so many years in the human resources field, Judy realized that the most successful companies invest in their employees and decided to help Headquarters Physical Therapy connect with companies that wanted to develop the healthiest, happiest, and most productive employees.
When Judy is not working she has many interests. Her priority is spending time with family. She and her family enjoy traveling. They have moved throughout the US and spent a few years living in England. The relocations made it possible to explore many places in the US and Europe. As a volunteer for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) & Make-A-Wish, Judy has served in leadership positions and assists with various annual fundraising campaigns. She also has a passion for fitness and wellbeing and plays competitive recreational tennis and golf.
